Hobbies & Interests

Following a passion for drama production I took part in the New Creatives scheme offered by BBC Arts and Screen South. I built on the knowledge I had learned from previous placements by directing and producing a drama entitled ‘Online’ for the BBC Sounds online platform. This required me to use my extensive knowledge and experience of different sound editing programmes as well as my ability to capture high quality audio. I was required to oversee the operation of the recording desk and provide direction to the cast. In the post-production stage, I was responsible for overseeing the whole of the edit and making key changes to suit the intended audience, platform, and timing. I also undertook the construction and handling of a variety of documentation and sourcing of clearances for music tracks. This has then led to me now editing and executive producing for Satellite Five (a collective of independent creatives) in a voluntary capacity.
